The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest Central Armed Police Forces of India. It functions under the aegis of MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) of the Government of India. CRPF’s primary role lies in assisting Union/ State Territories in police operations to maintain law and order & counter-insurgency. It established on 27th July 1939 as Crown Representative’s Police after independence it became the Central Reserve Police Force on 28 December 1949.

Skill Test on computer
English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. OR Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.

Between 18 to 25 years. (The crucial date for determining the age will be 05/05/2016, which is the closing date of application. Candidate should not have been born earlier than 06/05/1991 and not later than 05/05/1998). Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Male candidates belonging to General/UR and OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should deposit Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred) only.
