About Heavy Vehicle Factory
The Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF) is located at Avadi in Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. HVF was set up in 1965 by the Ordnance Factories Board, Government of India to manufacture heavy battlefield equipment, including Vijayantasand T-72 tanks. Currently, HVF manufactures India's main battle tank Arjun and the T-90s. The Engine Factory of HVF functions separately from HVF.

- For Industrial Cadre : 18 to 32 years
- For Non-Industrial Cadre : 18 to 27 years
