About Mazagon Dock Limited
MDL is India’s major shipyard. It manufactures warships and submarines for the Indian Navy an offshore platforms and associated support vessels for offshore oil drilling. The shipyard of MDL were established in the 18th Century. Ownership of the yards passed through different –different entities. Including the P&O Lines. The shipyard was nationalized and official in 1960 and is now a public sector undertaking of the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates who want to apply, should have completed 8th / 10th / ITI certificates, passed in the first attempt only from a recognized government institute/university/school.

Application Fee
General/OBC/AFC candidates must have to pay application fee Rs. 140/- for at any nearest branch of State Bank of India by using challan. No fee for ST/SC.

- Group B (ITI Passed) : 16 – 21 years
- Group C (8th Class Passed) : 14 – 18 years
Stipend
