Qualification:
Candidates applying for HWB Vacancy Recruitment should have the following educational qualifications,
Dy. Chief Fire Officer/A:
Station Officer/A:
SSC or equivalent + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence + certificate of Station Officers course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering. India/London.
SSC or equivalent. Experience as a Fireman in a well established Fire Service Organization. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre and valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
Fireman/A:
SSC or equivalent. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
Driver-cum-Operator/A:
SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle driving License. Persons having knowledge of Fire Fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. will be given preference.
Pass in 10′” Standard.
ii) Must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive Light and Heavy Vehicle. Ability to read and fill up routine forms in English/Hindi desirable. Possession of a valid driving license to drive two wheelers.
Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry. + Passed the Divisional Officer% Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/London
- Experience: Minimum experience of 6 years not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 2 years not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential.
Station Officer/A:
SSC or equivalent + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence + certificate of Station Officers course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering. India/London.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 5 years in a post not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential.
- Experience: 12 years as Leading Fireman OR 15 years as (Fireman/Driver-cum- Operator) in a recognized Civil! Industrial Fire Service Station is essential.
SSC or equivalent. Experience as a Fireman in a well established Fire Service Organization. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre and valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 8 years as Fireman/Driver-cum-Operator in a well-established fire services organization Is essential.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 7 years as Fireman/Driver-cum-Operator in a well-established fire services organization is essential.
Fireman/A:
SSC or equivalent. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
Driver-cum-Operator/A:
SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle driving License. Persons having knowledge of Fire Fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. will be given preference.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience after obtaining the requisite qualification. Experience in a Fire Service Organisation/ Defence Service will be preferred.
Pass in 10′” Standard.

- Experience: Consolidated experience in driving a Light and Heavy vehicle for at least 3 years.
- Should possess knowledge of Motor Mechanism: He should be able to attend to minor repairs of petrol and diesel driven vehicles such as the following:
- General day-to-day maintenance of the vehicle.
- Tyre. battery maintenance and lubrication of vehicle.
- Accelerators, brake, clutch pedal and fan belt adjustments.
- Removal of air lock and oil block.
- Engine tune up, brake adjustments, wheel alignment and observation of dashboard meters.
