• 4 (Four)   (Backlog vacancies for differently-abled persons reported for the period from 07-02-1996 to 31-12-2017. The ranked list prepared as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies notified.)

Qualification: 

1. Should have passed Standard V and should not have passed SSLC or equivalent. 
2. Good physique

Age Limit:

Candidates born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for the Deaf and hard of hearing / Visual impairment categories. For other disabilities, candidates born between 02/01/1877 and 01/01/2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. The maximum upper age limit, with all eligible relaxations combined, shall in no case exceed 50 years.

Method of Appointment : 

Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among differently abled candidates belonging to the following categories found suitable for the post as per G.O(P) No. 19/2020/8.JD dated 25.08.2020) i) Moderate Visual impairment (40 - 60 %) ii) Deaf and Hard of Hearing iii) Locomotor disability 40% - 60% (moderate disability) iv) Multiple Disability including the above-identified combinations. v) Mental illness & Intellectual Disability (Mental illness 40-70% (moderate), IDD - IQ: 55-89(VSMS) (50%) 

Note: Applications of candidates other than those belonging to the above-said categories will be summarily rejected.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a written test and an interview. The written test will be of objective type, with 75 minutes duration, and will have two topics - General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Basic Mathematics. The medium of the test will be Malayalam. The interview is for 10 marks, and the minimum mark for being included in the ranked list will be 35% of the interview.

• After filling in the details, click on the 'Submit' button.
• Candidates should ensure that they have filled in all the details correctly before clicking on the 'FINAL SUBMISSION' option available in the Step-II process.
