Educational Qualification

Junior Intelligence Officer Grade – II (Technical) 

• Diploma in Engineering in any of the fields, Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute. 

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, OR Mathematics from a Government recognized University/Institute. 

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government Recognized University/Institute.

The age of the IB JIO 

aspirant should be between 18 to 27 years. However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories as per the government norms.

Physical Standards:

Candidates should also meet the physical standards like the minimum height requirement of 157 cm and chest of 77 cm (un-expanded) and 82 cm (expanded). However, relaxation is given to people from certain regions.
